Refer a friend
£20 for every friend who switches.
Share your link with friends and family. When one of them switches broadband through it, you get £20. Energy is £10 a fuel, so £20 for gas and electricity. Paid by bank transfer.
How it works
- 1Get your linksYour first name, email and postcode. Your broadband and energy links appear straight away, and we email them to you.
- 2Send them to friends and familyBy message, by email, in the group chat. They compare and switch through your link, the same way anyone would.
- 3Get paid when they switch£20 for broadband, £10 a fuel for energy. Paid by bank transfer once the provider has confirmed the switch and paid us. You can watch each one on your page.

The rules
Refer a friend, in full
Who can refer
- Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the UK.
- Links are for friends and family. Big creators can apply to our ambassador programme instead.
What you earn
- £20 when a friend switches broadband through your link.
- £10 for each fuel when a friend switches energy through your link: £20 for gas and electricity together.
- Phones and SIM only deals earn no reward.
- Up to 10 rewards in a calendar month.
When you are paid
- Once the provider has confirmed the switch and paid MoneyHQ for it. Broadband usually takes around two months. Energy takes longer, often four to five months, because energy suppliers pay us by a statement that arrives two to three months after the switch.
- By bank transfer to a UK account you add on your page. We pay once a month.
- A switch that is cancelled, reversed or refused by the provider earns no reward.
What does not count
- Switching yourself, or switching at your own address.
- Links posted on voucher, cashback or discount sites, used in paid adverts, or placed against searches for MoneyHQ.
- A friend who arrives some other way and does not switch through your link.
- If you are a MoneyHQ ambassador, your sales earn your ambassador share, never a referral reward as well.
The small print
- We keep your first name and email to write to you and pay you, and your postcode only as a scrambled key that checks a friend is not you. The postcode itself is never stored.
- We may hold back a reward where we see misuse of these rules, and tell you why.
- We may change or end the scheme. A reward already earned under these rules is still paid.
