How we make money

You never pay us. Here’s who does.

Some providers pay MoneyHQ a commission when you take a offer through our links. That’s the business, and it never decides what we recommend.

Every offer shows who pays.

Poster: William explains how MoneyHQ makes money
William would rather lose a commission than list a bad offer. That’s the whole model.
Where the money comes from
You
Pay nothing
MoneyHQ is free. No account, no subscription, no paywall, no fee hidden in the offer.
Some providers
Pay a commission
When you take a offer through our links, the provider may pay us. Every offer says whether its provider pays, before you click.
Nobody
Buys position
Rankings and picks are editorial. A higher commission never buys a higher place in any list.
The rules

What the money never buys.

Every offer opens up to show its source, the date we checked it and whether it pays us. Try it on any offer.

Commission
Some offers pay us, some pay nothing. Both kinds sit side by side and are ranked the same way.
MoneyHQ picks
Editorial choices by William and the offers desk. A pick can be an offer that pays us nothing, and often is.
Sponsored placements
If a provider ever pays for placement, it is labelled sponsored. Sponsored is never called a pick, and never ranked as one.
Rankings
Default sorts are rule-based, value first. A change in what a provider pays us changes nothing about the order.
When offers change
Rates move and bonuses vanish. Every offer shows when we last checked it, and the Friday brief flags what changed.
Every Friday
When something changes, you hear it from us.
William flags new offers, vanished bonuses and rate drops every Friday.
