Privacy
Who we are
MoneyHQ is operated by MoneyHQ Group, the controller of any personal data collected through the site. For anything privacy-related, contact support@moneyhq.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up to the Friday brief. That’s all the signup asks for.
- Whatever you choose to send us when you email us.
- Standard technical logs created by our hosting provider when pages are served (such as IP address and browser type), used to run and secure the site.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and browsing MoneyHQ doesn’t require an account. If you follow a link to a provider, what they collect is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
Why we use it
The Friday brief runs on your consent: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we stop. Replying to your messages and keeping the site running and secure rely on our legitimate interest in operating MoneyHQ.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we use to run MoneyHQ, such as website hosting and email delivery, and only as far as needed to do those jobs. If the law requires us to disclose something, we comply.
How long we keep it
Your newsletter email until you unsubscribe. Correspondence for as long as we need it to offer with the matter you raised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@moneyhq.uk and we’ll sort it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If what we collect ever changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top shows the current version.
