How we worked it out

  • The same phone. iPhone 18 Pro Max, 256GB, at every network.
  • Unlimited data with no speed cap, because ours has none. Each network is matched on its cheapest unlimited plan without one.
  • Two years, all in. The whole phone paid off, plus two years of data. A network that sells the phone over 36 or 48 months has the phone counted once, at its full price.
  • Price rises counted for every network, at the amounts each one publishes.
  • Read on one day from each network’s own website, 2 October 2026. Prices change, so check the network’s site before you decide.
